Jennifer Pierre is the founder of Melanites, a multimedia company that designs diverse toys and accessories that celebrates brown boyhood. She created the company in an effort to help young boys combat the social pressures of hyper-masculinty, encouraging them to dream outside of the bubble and realize that their minds are just as important as their physical capability.
